Wealth and poverty

One day a wealthy family man decided to teach your child how good it is to be rich. He decided to take the boy to travel inland and show how difficult the lives of poor people.

They spent a day and a night in a small place in a very poor family.

When they returned from the trip the father asked his son:

- How was the trip?

- Very good, Daddy!

- Do you understand the difference between wealth and poverty?

- Yes.

- And what have you learned? He asked the father.

The son answered:

- I saw that we have a dog at home. They have four. We have a pool that reaches the middle of the garden; they have a creek that has no end. We have a covered and lit terrace; they have an entire forest ...

At the end of the response, the father gaped without reaction.

The little boy, strongly embracing his father, added:

- Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are!

This little boy may have taught the greatest lesson to his father. Everything depends on how you look at things. The things that really matter are priceless. If you have love, friends, family, health, good humor and positive attitudes toward life, you have everything! If you are "poor in spirit", you have nothing!
